She was raised in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. When she was a teen, Padukone played in many national badminton tournaments. However, she resigned from the sport when she decided to be a professional fashion model. Padukone is born in Mangalorean origin and her native language is Konkani. Padukone is a village located in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi in Karnataka State in India is where her lineage comes from. Prakash Padukone's father is an international badminton champion who has now retired. Her mother is a traveling agent.
